Refrigerators are connected to the internet of things (IoT) with smart screens that check email or post finger-paint messages. TV’s are “smart”, though not quite smart enough to just work without setup or registration.

Thermostats and lightbulbs listen to our conversations  and sometimes think we are talking to them.

Then, of course, there are ubiquitous websites; Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,   slack, Twitter; there are emails and passwords and passwords for passwords, and apps.  There are apps for everything.

The Broken Promise: Technology makes life simple – makes it work – allows us time to do something else instead, is labor saving.

In this world of broken promises, un-help desks, idiot bars and the like, sometimes you just need people who get you, and get what you are trying do.
